Citrin Cooperman is pleased to announce that Josh Berlin and Heather Spillman have joined as principals in the firm’s Healthcare Practice. Josh will co-lead the Healthcare Practice, along with current leaders, Aaron Cohen, John Bryan, and Michael Criscione. Josh and Heather join the firm after serving as managing partner and associate partner, respectively, in the Watson Health division of IBM.

Berlin is a seasoned business executive with over 20 years of experience, most of which involves advising healthcare organizations on building strategies, executing deliberate roadmaps, and implementing solutions-oriented goals and objectives aligned with their mission and vision. He has worked with organizations across the full healthcare ecosystem (providers, payors, employers, governments, non-profits, and advocacy), as a strategist, expert, and advisor, depending on the client need and situation. In his career, Berlin has served as a leader at BearingPoint, KPMG, Dixon Hughes Goodman and IBM, also bringing a background in law to his role as co-leader of the Healthcare Practice.

Spillman brings experience from BearingPoint, Deloitte, KPMG, Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP and IBM to her role as principal in the Healthcare Practice, where she will focus on leading a portfolio of projects and business development across healthcare’s various constituents.
