CHICAGO, IL (January 25, 2019) — Topel Forman has hired Bernie Lietz as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Topel Forman, Lietz served as a COO and Firm Administrator at two of the largest local CPA firms in the Chicago area where he was involved with high-level strategy and process implementation. As COO, he will assume day-to-day responsibility for numerous core business functions within the firm including human resources, IT, marketing, business development, facilities, administration and finance.
Topel Forman Managing Partner John Riley said the firm and partners are thrilled to bring an experienced COO like Lietz on board. “The addition of Bernie to our team will enable our partners to transition significant operational responsibilities to him and dedicate more time to serving clients and developing staff. Bernie will be based in the Chicago office and travel to the Denver office on a regular basis as needed to support its growth and development.
