Citrin Cooperman, a leading accounting and advisory firm, announced today that
Jessie T. Kanter, CPA, has joined its Providence, Rhode Island office as a partner. Kanter brings nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting, providing audit and tax services to privately-held companies. She specializes in the area of quality control.

Kanter joins the firm’s attest practice group, where she will focus on the value, quality and efficiency of financial statement audits. In this capacity, she will provide consulting on complex technical accounting matters, internal support, and review for the firm’s New England region. Kanter brings a broad industry experience working with companies in various industries, including manufacturing, construction, real estate, health care, not-for-profit organizations, private equity, and financial services.

As an active member of her community, Kanter serves as treasurer of Project Undercover, Inc. and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Family Literacy Center in Lincoln, Rhode Island. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Massachusetts and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants (RISCPA).
