Aaron specializes in profitability consulting and analysis for a variety of industries and disciplines and is a Certified Franchise Executive, a designation awarded by the IFA upon completion of the required courses combined with industry related work experience. Aaron has more than thirty years of experience in accounting and auditing and focuses his practice on a number of key niches, including franchising, manufacturing, real estate, restaurants, and professional service firms.

Aaron is an active member of the International Franchise Association, a member of the Supplier Forum Board; a member of the Steering Committee on the Task Force for Franchising in the Social Sector; a member of the FranPac Cabinet Club; a member of the Membership Committee of the IFA; a member of Citrin Cooperman’s audit and attest committee task force; and Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s franchise accounting and consulting practice. Aaron is also a frequent speaker, author and lecturer on various franchise-related topics. He is the only outside accounting firm instructor at the annual training sessions for the Franchise Fraud Examiners from the various State Attorney General's offices. He serves as a trusted advisor to both active and potential franchisors and multi-unit franchisees. His work with franchisors includes audits of financial statements, international tax structuring, expansion consulting, due diligence and acquisitions services, the structuring of royalty audit programs, and succession planning. He also helps prospective franchisees analyze franchise opportunities and understand franchise disclosure circulars.

In the manufacturing arena, Aaron works with companies to help clients understand and analyze cost systems for operations and potential acquisitions. His due diligence work includes helping package businesses for sale to obtain the best value for the company. An active member of his community, Aaron is also past president of the Long Island Network Exchange. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and the New York State Society of CPAs, and is frequently asked to speak on the franchising and restaurant industries.
