Alex Brinister is a Senior Manager and member of the Firm's Securities and Corporate Finance Practice Group. Alex has over 17 years of experience in accounting and auditing and works with a variety of clients in areas, including: -Public Enterprises -Manufacturing Entities -High-Tech Organizations -Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and SEC Filings -Employee Benefit Plans Alex manages the audits and other attest engagements of more than 15 of the Firm's clients. Alex works directly with clients' management to develop strong relationships, resolve issues arising during audits, and ensure that engagements are performed in accordance with applicable professional standards and in a manner that is consistent with the client's goals. Alex previously worked for an SEC registrant in a role of responsibility for financial accounting, U.S. GAAP, and SEC reporting. His previous experience also includes work as an audit supervisor for one of the Big Four firms, as well as various accounting and management consulting roles with U.S. Government agencies, such as the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
