Constantine Sophos, CPA, is a director at Citrin Cooperman, providing tax planning and preparation services to the firm's financial services clients, such as hedge funds and broker-dealer firms. Constantine, who has 25 years of tax experience, joined Citrin Cooperman, in its New York City office, in January 2010.

Constantine has a great deal of experience in the taxation of partnerships, and works with the firm's real estate clients as well. He also provides tax services to high net worth individuals, and reviews individual tax returns prepared by others within the firm.

Previously, Constantine was with Ross, Rosenthal and Co., where he served as Tax Director, responsible for the overall tax research of the firm, which included tax planning for clients. He spent 10 years with Big Four firm KPMG, where he was Director for Firm and Partner Tax Matters.

Constantine is licensed as a CPA by the State of New Jersey. Memberships include the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a former member of The Tax Executives Institute.

He received his Bachelors Degree in Economics and Accounting in 1985 from Rutgers College. He also received his J.D. degree from Touro College in 1992 and his L.L.M. degree in Taxation from Villanova University in 1994. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
