Keeping in touch with clients throughout the year and helping them stay abreast of changing market conditions, regulations and opportunities helps Joe deepen his knowledge of each client and deliver the most relevant guidance.Joe derives the most satisfaction from his work when he is able to work closely with clients to identify customized solutions to their unique challenges. Recent projects include advising a community bank on liquidation of an insurance asset to achieve favorable tax treatment.He brings that same attention to detail and quest for the best solutions to a company’s needs to all of his clients, whether he’s providing guidance on a merger, advising on corporate tax planning or parsing accounting and auditing technical matters. A 2000 graduate of Stonehill College in Easton MA, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting, Joe received his Masters of Science in Accounting in 2001, also from Stonehill. He joined G.T. Reilly in 2000.Joe’s introduction to accounting came at age 19 when he was hired by a local auto parts manufacturer to help with accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions. He enjoyed the rapid trust and responsibility the company gave him, as well as the opportunity to learn how the business was run. This experience led him to study business and accounting in college.Joe is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Acccountants Accounting & Auditing Committee, and of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.In his spare time, he enjoys sports and spending time with his family. Joe lives in Whitman with his wife and three children.
