Linda works with a wide variety of clients, including privately-held businesses and nonprofit organizations. She provides financial statement audit, tax and consulting services in addition to her specialty in employee benefit plan compliance, and she draws satisfaction in helping clients make sure their businesses work for them.
Linda brings extensive technical knowledge and expertise to the audit services she provides for the employee benefit plans of G.T. Reilly’s clients, ensuring that clients are able to fulfill the promises they have made to their employees with their retirement plans.
Her technical expertise includes retirement plan audits, compliance reviews, employee education, plan administration, discrimination tests and corrective actions, Department of Labor filings, liaison with third-party administrators and representation under IRS and DOL audits.
Linda joined the firm in 1979 after graduating from Babson College with a Master's Degree in Business Administration/Finance. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1975.
She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants ERISA Committee, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Moore Stephens Employee Benefit Plan Special Interest Group.
Starting as a grocery store cashier at the age of 16, Linda worked her way through college. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, sightseeing and nature walks, and she has fond memories of early morning bike rides past the corn fields around Amherst on her way to college classes.
